Its my pleasure to be here to share my teaching designs and ideas with you. My topic is Section A 2a2d of
5、Unit 6 Im going to study computer science in Grade 8. Id like to analyze this lesson in 6 parts. As you can see, they are Analysis of the Teaching Material, Analysis of the Ss; Analysis of the Teaching Methods; Students learning strategies; Teaching Procedures and Blackboard Design.Lets begin with P
6、art 1 Analysis of the Teaching Material.Its divided into 3 parts, No. 1 Status and FunctionThe topic of this unit is to talk about the jobs and make the future plans. All the teaching activities are carried out around the topic of future intentions. Students will learn to use general questions, and
7、other language functions to talk about the future plans. This lesson aims to create a relaxing, happy and communicative environment. Well train students the ability of the usage of knowledge by listening, speaking, reading and writing. Section A 2a2d is the second period of this unit .The Ss have ha
8、d a basic understanding of the new grammar: Simple Future Tense. This class will learn some vocabularies about jobs and somebody wants to be in the future. And its helpful for Ss to learn the next part.No.2Teaching GoalsAs a teacher, I must know the aims before I teach them. It includes three parts.
9、 First, Knowledge goals, in this lesson, Ss are required to grasp some newwords and phrases. They also should grasp the target languages by using be going to and wh- questions.Next, Ability goals. In this lesson, students will use the target languages to talk about what people are going to do in the
10、 future and their own dreams correctly. They should also master some phrases, like make sure, be sure about and so on.So Ill mainly develop students abilities of listening and speaking.As for Emotional goals. When Ss talk about the future inventions, well not only guide them to experience, practice,
11、 cooperation and communication to improve their understanding, but also cultivate Ss interests of learning English and encourage them to take part in the after-school activities to achieve their dreams.No.3 Important and difficult points. Since there are a few new words and phrases in this period, t
12、o understand all of them seems very important. Of course, the most difficult for students to do is to talk about what people are going to do and how to achieve their dreams. Maybe Ss will easily make mistakes about be going to do. So I will make examples and then give them more chances to practice,
13、so that they can communicate with others by using the target language freely. Ok. thats all for Part 1. Lets focus on Ss.Next, Part 2 Analysis of the students As a teacher, I deeply know that, if I want to teach my students well, I must know them well first. The students in Grade Eight are intereste
14、d in learning English, in this period, theyll talk about their dreaming jobs, so its exciting. But they also have some difficulties. They hope to get praise and encouragement from others. So I try to give them more chances and let them take part in the activities to enjoy the feeling of success.Diff
15、erent teachers, different teaching methods. Now lets come to next part : Part 3 Teaching Methods. In my lesson, I will adopt “5P” teaching mode. They give students chances to learn by doing. Task-based Language Teaching will be adopted, too, which focuses on both knowledge and the learning process.
16、And in order to make my lesson lively and interesting, I will also use Game, Competition and Multi-media teaching method to arouse Ss interests. To present the content on the screen is convenient and it is much easier for the students to learn and grasp the meanings. You know, teachers have teaching
17、 methods, of course, students have learning methods. Well, lets go on with Part 4 learning strategies, in this lesson, Ss will listen and talk about the future inventions. I prefer to cultivate Ss abilities of studying, imitating and cooperating to find out the rules of Simple Future Tense. They can
