1、石楼中学 初二英语组 刘红玲 2012 年8月,Unit 1 Vote for Bill,一 本单元教材分析:,八年级上英语第一单元Vote for Bill,本单元由4部分组成。Part1:主要通过听说掌握“making preparing for an event; borrowing and lending things”两项语言功能。Part2,学生能够根据阅读目的从主课文中获取所需信息 ,并掌握所学词汇和表达方式,还要掌握“一般过去时”和“名词性物主代词”。Part3. 是对前两部分一些语言的复习和应用,同时重点练习代词所有格的用法。 Part4. 主要是对本单元知识的总结与巩固,着
2、重培养学生获取信息表达思想的能力,即听,说,读,写能力。,Vocabulary: 本单元共有23个单词,6个词组,其中课标词18个,分别为: note notebook president last fail sure promise early speech practice several praise lucky sock hope luck T-shirt,三 教学目标,Students will be able to: 1. Know the new words and expressions. 2.Understand and use the function “borrowing
3、 and lending things”. 3. Master possessive pronouns. 4. Improve the Ss ability of listening, speaking, talking and writing.,四过程与方法 (1).通过图片,头脑风暴,及其小组活动等多种形式使学生能对某一事件信息进行谈论,并能用书面表达的形式写出来,培养学生说和写的能力。 (2).通过指导学生做各种听力理解题和课文阅读理解,培养学生听和读的能力。,五、情感态度和价值观 1.通过谈论 “如何为某一事件做准备”,培养学生的自信心,激发学生学英语的兴趣。 2.主课文“Vote f
4、or Bill ”这一故事正好符合孩子们的心理特点,因此他们学起来会更感兴趣。这也利于学生去理解课文,记忆一些语言知识。,课时安排 Part1 2课时 Part2 2课时 Part3 1课时 Part4 1课时,六.教学设计,Part I Listening and Speaking (1) 教学目标: 1.能够用所学单词对自己或他人为某事做准备进行描述。 2.能够从听力材料中获取相关信息 3.能够用所学新词汇完成听力信息材料。 教学内容: 1.Learn the new words and phrases: campaign . speech . poster . mask . note .
5、 CD player . 2.Learn how to describe a person is doing and preparing for. 教学重点: 理解听力材料并从中获取信息。 教学难点: 听力理解和口语表达。,教学步骤: Warm-up: (1)T: How did you spend your summer holiday? What did you do? Did you do any studies? What do you plan to do this term? What are you preparing for? (引出单元题目)。 (2)Discuss and
6、describe the pictures on page6. 1)Show some pictures and learn the new words. 2)According to questions to describe the picture 1. What is the girl doing? Where is she practicing? (教师可以根据学生的回答作进一步提问,帮助学生完整有序的描述图片。),3) Work in groups: Ss discuss the other three pictures.(有困难的组,教师给予适当的帮助和指导.) 4)Ask som
