5、gy doesnt just help runners train harder. It also gives them the power to train more intelligently. Recreational runners today no longer have to guess how far or how fast theyve run, or what their body is doing. If they can monitor their heart rate, they can make sure theyre hitting the most strateg
6、ic pace on each run, which can significantly increase their chances of having a positive experience on the course during race day. No matter how much technology can promote the experience of running, though, many runners argue that the biggest benefit of the sport remains the chance to get outdoors,

Someone may be trying to lose weight or improve their sleep patterns. Another person feels tired after eating. S
15、elf-tracking could help him to know what foods make him sleepy and watch his diet. Monitoring daily activities isnt a new concept. In years past, athletes and their coaches kept notes detailing nutrition, training and sleep patterns in order to achieve an athletic goal. Similarly, doctors have also
16、helped patients to record parts of their lifestyles and eating habits to help fight allergies, headaches and other health problems. However, it wasnt until 2007 that magazine editors Gary Wolf and Kim Kelly, who started tracking every move they made, coined the term “Quantified Self”. Wolf says that
