American businesswoman Ruth Handler is credited with the creation of the doll using a German doll called Bild Lilli as her inspiration.,Barbie is the figurehead of a brand of Mattel dolls and accessories, including other family members and collectible dolls. It is estimated that over a billion Barbie dolls have been sold worldwide in over 150 countries, with Mattel claiming that three Barbie dolls are sold every second,Barbie products include not only the range of dolls with their clothes and accessories, but also a

Barbie has become a cultural icon and has been given honors that are rare in the toy world.,In August 1930, Wood saw a gothic style house, which was built in the 1880s. This buildings compact and solid design, esp

He then spent 2 months finishing this famous painting.,He recruited his sister as the model for the woman, dressing her as a woman in 19th-century America. The man is modeled on Woods dentist. Each element was painted separately; the models sat separately and never stood in front of the house.,Buffalo Nickel, produced from 1913 to 1938, honored a pair of connected tragedies from the settle
10、ment of the American frontier. White people had used it as models for most American coins. In 1915, a buffalo would be sold for $100 and killed for meat, a hide, and a wall decoration made from its horns.,Buffalo nickel is not too observant of conventional standards, but was printed in the United St
11、ates as a memorial to the westward expansion on the frontier and the near extinction of the American Buffalo due to hunting. Buffalo nickel is one of the coins that coin collectors want the most and is very rare.,Uncle Sam is a common national personification of the American government that, accordi
12、ng to legend, came into use during the War of 1812 and was supposedly named for Samuel Wilson.,Sam Wilson was a meat packer in New York, who supplied rations for the soldiers.
