10、 the body neck axis, up to the point where the body-bonnet joint is affected, the sum of the ligaments at the inner and outer sides shall be equal to or greater than emin or e as applicable. The inner ligament and the ligament at the bottom of the drilled hole shall be no less than 0,25 emin or 0,25
11、 e as applicable. This thickness shall exist from the end of the body neck for a distance along the body neck for a distance equal to 1,5 times the hole or bolt diameter. 12、EN 12516-1:2005 (E) 18 8.4 Local areas Local areas having less than the minimum thickness emin are acceptable providing the following conditions are satisfied a) The area of sub-minimum thickness can be enclosed by a circle whose diameter is no greater than mini 35, 0eD. For body necks take Di = Di
13、b) Measured thickness is not less than 0,75 emin. c) Enclosed circles are separated from each other by an edge to edge distance of no less than mini 75, 1eD . 8.5 Contours at body ends a) Butt welding ends The weld preparation shall not reduce the body wall thickness to less than emin within a regio
14、n closer to the outside surface of the body neck than emin measured in the pipe run direction. See Figure 1. The transition to the weld preparation shall be gradual and the section shall be essentially circular through the length of the transition. Sharp discontinuities or abrupt changes of section
15、shall be avoided, except test collars or bands, either welded or integral, are allowed. In no case shall the thickness be less than 0,77 x emin at a distance 1,33 x emin from the weld end. For acceptable transitions adjacent to the butt welding end profile see EN 12627. b) Socket welding and threade
16、d ends Bodies with socket welding and threaded ends shall have a minimum wall thickness, esoc (see Figure 2) as given in Table 4. 20、ess Body metal thickness resulting from assembly loads, opening and closing forces of large actuators, stress concentrations particularly in the crotch area, opening in enlarged body cavities and some types of fabricated valves shall be provided in accordance to EN 12516-2 to ensure adequate strengt
21、h and rigidity. For non circular bodies with an ovality greater than 5 %, the required minimum wall thickness shall be verified by a calculation in accordance to EN 12516-2. When using the equations of the EN 12516-2, the calculation pressure shall be taken from Table 1 and the design stress shall be 118 N/mm2. 8.7 Bonnets, cover and connections The bonnet, cover and the connection between the body and the bonnet or cover shall be de
23、signed in accordance with EN 12516-2. 8.8 Wafer or flangeless valves The wafer and flangeless valves shall be designed to conform to the applicable requirements of the flanged valves. Wall thickness shall be determined according to Figure 20. The required emin shall be measured from the valve body i
24、nside circumference Di out to the lesser of the valve body outside circumference or the circumference of a circle inscribed through the inner tangent points to the flange bolt holes.
