2、e structure is analyzed for strength and stability under combined load of weight, wind and seismic load. It is found that maximum stress occurs at the corner of the rectangular opening for smoke entrance, and large stress also occurs at the lower part of the tower for hydraulic pressure of lime liqu
3、id and bending due to wind and seismic loads. As for buckling analysis, only eigenvalue method is employed for the complexity of the structure. Buckling load factors are obtained for weight, wind and seismic load separately which correspond to different buckling models, in which hydraulic pressure i
4、s taken as a constant load. With the extension of stability evaluation principle of cylinder under combined load, a criterion is suggested with probability of wind and seismic load in consideration to evaluate the stability of the desulfurizer.
