3、ions, UL 2225 Second Edition, Dated December 21, 2005 Summary of Topics This new edition of ANSI/UL 2225 is a periodic re-issuance to ensure that ULs Standards remain up-to-date with regard to format and editorial issues such as renumbering, organization, and other miscellaneous editorial revisions.
4、 This new edition also includes the following: Addition of ITC-HL Cable Addition of Increased Safety and Flameproof Cable Fittings to the Scope. Addition of Increased Safety and Flameproof Extra-Hard Usage Cord Connectors to the Scope. Proposed modifi ed gauging of male NPT threads made of stainless
5、 steel. Addition of Seal requirements for Compound Fill and the requirement for not removing the seal from the fi tting after installation. Addition of test factor for Serrated Joint Explosion Tests. Addition of 10 second Hydrostatic Pressure Test. Addition of Part III AEx Cable Fitting and Extra-Ha
6、rd Usage Cord Connector Requirements. The following table lists the future effective dates with the corresponding reference. 18、efend, indemnify, and hold UL harmless from and against any loss, expense, liability, damage, claim, or judgement (including reasonable attorneys fees) resulting from any error or deviation introduced while purchaser is storing an electronic Standard on the purchasers computer system. If a single-us
19、er version electronic Standard was purchased, one copy of this Standard may be stored on the hard disk of a single personal computer, or on a single LAN fi le-server or the permanent storage device of a multiple-user computer in such a manner that this Standard may only be accessed by one user at a
20、time and for which there is no possibility of multiple concurrent access. If a multiple-user version electronic Standard was purchased, one copy of the Standard may be stored on a single LAN fi le-server, or on the permanent storage device of a multiple-user computer, or on an Intranet server. An employee of an organization purchasing a UL Standard can make a copy of the page or pages being viewed for their own fair and/or practical internal use. The requirements in this Standard are now in effect, except for t
24、hose paragraphs, sections, tables, fi gures, and/or other elements of the Standard having future effective dates as indicated in the note following the affected item. The prior text for requirements that have been revised and that have a future effective date are located after the Standard, and are
