This standard presents test methods for 130-mm rewritable optical disk cartridges with continuous composite servo (CCS). These methods are to be used for information interchange a
22、mong processing systems, communi- cation systems, and associated equipment utilizing a standard code for interchange. This standard deals with methods and procedures for testing media characteristics. The TC X3B11 Subcommittee on optical digital data disk cartridges, which developed this standard, c
23、onsists of experienced and qualified specialists in recording digital information on optical media. In the development of this standard, careful consideration was given to current practices and existing equipment and supplies with the broadest possible acceptance, and to pro- vide a basis for future
24、 improvements in the use of this cartridge medium. This standard contains six annexes. Annexes AD are normative and are considered part of this standard. Annexes E and F are informative and are not considered part of this standard. Requests for interpretation, suggestions for improvements or addenda
