2、mon Name: imazalil 1.1 The word “imazalil” (pronounced im-laz-a-llil) has been accepted as the American National Standard Com- mon Name for the chemical 1 - 2-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)- 2-(2-propenyloxy)ethyl -1 H-imidazole. 1.2 Acceptance signifies compliance with American National Standard Procedure fo

Use of Common Name 2.1 The common name applies to the 100% pure chemical. 2.2 Technical grades and formulations shall indicate the percentage of imazalil present; for example, imaza- 2.3 Th

It is effective against many species of Asc
15、omycetae and Deuteromycetae, including benzimidazole-resistant strains, notably PeniciZZium, which cause post-harvest decay of citrus. It is also used in seed dressing applications for control of common root rot pathogens.
