(pronounced ?glu-fas-i-nt) has been accepted as the Ameri- can National Standard Common Name for the chemical 2-amino-4(hydroxymethylphos- p h inyi) but anoic acid 1.2 Acceptance signifies compliance with American National Standard common name for a pesf control chemical -
3、 Procedure for acceptance, ANSI K62.1-1985. 2 Use o f common name 2.1 The common name applies to the 100/o pure chemical. 2.2 Technical grades and formulations shall indicate the percentage of glufosinate present; for example, glufosinate 99%. 4、glufosinate? has agreed to release and permit the use of the name ?glufosinate? with respect to any product, whether or not manufactured or formulated by .it, which contains a pest control chemical conforming to the description set forth in this American National Standard. 3 Limitations Neither the
5、American National Standards In- stitute nor the Accredited Standards Commit- tee for Common Names for Pest Control Chemicals, K62, guarantees or assumes any responsibility that use of this name in con- nection with this or any other chemical or product will not infringe on or conflict with any exist
6、ing proprietary name, trademark, or trade name. Approval as an American N.ational Standard Common Name constitutes recogni- tion by the Institute that a consensus exists Name furnished upon request. An American National Standard implies a consensus of those substantially concerned with its scope and
7、 provisions. An American National Standard is intended as a guide to aid the manufacturer, the consumer, and the general pu6lic. The existence of an American National Standard does not in any respect preclude anyone, whether he has approved the standard or not, from manufac- turing. marketing, purch
8、asing. or using products, processes, or procedures not conforming to the standard. American National Standards are subject to periodic review and users are cautioned to obtain the latest editions.
