Abstract The described Station Management-2 Packet Services (SMT-2-PS) protocol is intended for use in a high- performance multi-station network. This protocol is designed to be effective at 100 megabits per second using a Token ring
5、architecture and optical fibre or copper twisted pair as the transmission medium over distances of several kilometers in extent.
