3、scope 1 . 1 This Standard sets forth requirements for the attachment of three point hitch implements or equipment to the rear of agricultural wheel tractors by means of a threepoint iree-link in association with a power l i 19 In order to assure proper pedmance of certain implements, standard dimens
4、ions for mast height, mast pitch adjusiment and implement leveling adjustment are included. Location of link-attachment points is not restricted and is, therefore, left to the discretion of the tractor designer. 1 . 3 If draft links are used for ttaiing power take-off implements, a means shall be in
5、cluded for locking the draft links in a fixed position, and a drawbar hitch point shall be positioned in conformance with power take- off standards. 1.4 Dimensions comprising the standard speucations are divided into 4 categories: Crtr(i0iv Mulmum drawbar Power, k W I 15to35 (20 to 45 hp) II 30 to 7

UPPER LINK POINT LOWER LINK POINT 2 Definition of terms 21 Unkage: The combination of 1 upper link and 2 lower links, each articulated to the
7、 tractor and the implement at opposite ends in order to connect the impiement to the tractor. 2 . 2 Upper link, lower link Elements in the linkage. 23 Hitch point The arailated connection between a link and the implement. For geometrical analysis, the hitch point is established as the center of aie
8、aracUlated don between a link and the implement. 2.4 Unk point: The arailated conneciion between a link and the tractor. For geometrical analysis, the link point is established as the center of the artiaiiated connection between a link and the tmctor. 25 Upper hitch point: The articulated connection
9、 between the upper link and the implement 2.6 Upper link point: The araculated connection between the upper link and the tractor. 2.7 Lower hitch point The articulated connection between a lower link and the implement. 2.8 Lower Ilnk point: The articulated connection between a lower link and the tra
10、ctor. 2.9 Upper hitch pin: The pin that connects the upper link to the implement. 2.10 Upper link pln: The pin that connects the upper link to the tractor. 211 Lower hitch stud or pin: The stud or pin, attached to the impiement, on which a lower link is secured. 2.12 Linchpin: The retaining pin used
11、 in the hitch pins or studs. 2.13 Mast: The member that provides attachment of the upper link to the implement. 2.14 Mast height: The perpendicular distance between the upper hitch point and common axis of the lower hitch points. 2.15 Mast adjustment: The usable range of movement of the mast in a ve
12、rticai plane. It is measured as the maximum and minimum heights of the lower hitch points above the ground between Whkh a masi of standard height can be adjusted to any inclination between 5 deg toward the rear from vercal and 5 deg toward the front rom vertical. Adjustment of the mast controls the
13、pitch of the implement. Tractors equipped with a standard quick-attaching coupler for the threegoint W i n k hitch require an auxiliary attaching pin on the implement mast located 76 mm (3.0 in.) for categories I and 111, and 102 mm (4.0 in.) for Category II, below the standard upper hitc
22、h point. To facilitate attachment and detachment of the implement a clearance zone must be maintained 76 mm (3.0 in.) rearward from and extending 104 mm (4.10 in.) above and 216 mm (8.50 in.) below this pin. In addiion, a dearance zone must be maintained 94 mm (3.70 in.) rearward from and extending
23、25 mm (1.0 in.) above and 211 mm (8.30 in.) below each lower hitdi point To facilitate c a r attachment and detachment of the implement with tractors equipped with a standard Category IV-N or IV quick-attaching coupler for the threepoint W i n k hitch, a clearance zone must be maintained 85 mm (3.35
