While this standard outlines the performance requirementsfor Anti-siphon FillValves (Ballcocks) for Gravity Water Closet Flush Tanks, and describes those performance requirements in terms of methods of testing applicable to all such units, equivalent materials or m
9、ethods of testing intended to demonstrate compliance with these requirements are also acceptable. Further- more, while common design, types and sizes may be defined or stated throughout this document for the basis of standardization with other industry components, or other designs, types and sizes w

Instantly apply a constant vacuum of 63 mm ( 25 inches) of mercury for a period of one (1) minute during which, the sigth glass shall be inspected for indications of dye. 2. Apply v
17、acuums of 12,25,37,50, and 63 mm (5,l O, 1520, and 25 inches) of mercury and hold each for a period of one (1) minute, during which,the sight glass shall be inspected for indications of dye. 3.3.3 Criteria Backflow of water from the flush tank shall result in a rejection of the device. 3.4.1 Purpose
18、 The purpose of this test is to ensure that the device, when installed in a retrofit application, is capable of furnishing a minimum of 5.68 Umin (1.5 GPM) flow at 103.43 kPa (15 p.s.i.g.) flowing pressure. 3.4.2 Test Method Procedure The device shall be installed in a flush tank or a container. The
19、 device shall be set to run fully open and the flow rate measured by a volume-time or weight-time method. The flowing pressure shall be 55.2 kPa (8 p.s.i.g.), measured at the inlet to the valve. 3.4.3 Criteria Failure of the device to meet the requirements of Section 1.2.3.1.2 shall result in a reje

21、uction or networking permitted without license from IHS -,-,- 3.5.1 Purpose The purpose of the test is to ensure that the device, when installed in a retrofit application, is capable of delivering a minimum of 20% of total fill rate through the refill orifice at 103.43 kPa (15 p.s.i.g.) flowing pres
22、sure. 3.5.2 Test Method Procedure The device shall be installed in a flush tank ora container. The device shall be set to run fully open and the refill measured using a volume-time or weight-time method. The flowing pressure shall be 103.45 kPa (15 p.s.i.g.), measured at the inlet to the valve. 3.5.
23、3 Criteria Failure of the device to meet the requirements in Section 1.2.3.2 shall result in a rejection of the device. 3.6.1 Purpose This test shall be performed to determine the Critical Level (CL) marking of the device. Markings shall be placed on the unit as per Section 4.2.1. 3.6.2 Procedure Se
24、t up the device as per Section 3.3 with the check valve fouled as per Section 3.3.2.1. A “sight glass“ shall be assembled to the shank assembly as shown. With the tank water level lowered 3 mm (18 inch) below the vacuum breaker air port(s) or water discharge openings (air gaps type), the fill valve
