Part 1
11、.35 mm film. BS 850, Definition of cinematograph “safety” film. This British Standard prepared under the authority of the Photographic Industry Standards Committee was originally published as BS 777:1938, “Film strip and film slides”, and was subsequently revised in 1947 and again in 1952. This revi
12、sion takes into account current work within the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in its Technical Committee No. 42 Photography, and excludes the 3! in size. It specifies essential dimensions and in the case of slides the location and form of the title strip. In the revision, cert
13、ain dimensions have been altered to bring them into line with international practice. Specialized slides are not dealt with nor, in view of present difficulties in respect of sub-miniature film sizes, has any attempt been made to standardize sub-miniature slides. Attention is drawn to BS 3216, “Dime

Users of British Standards are responsible for their correct application. Compliance with a British Standard does not of itself confer imm
