Other stockholders include a variety of other a i r transport companies, ai rcraft manufacturers and foreign flag airlin

Activities of ARINC include the operation of an extensive system of domesti c and overseas aeronaut ca I I and rad o stat ons, the f u I f i I I ment of systems requirements t o accompl ish ground and airborne compatibi I ity, the allocation and assignment of frequencies t o w e t those needs, t
6、he coordi- nation incident to standard airborne communications and electronics systems and the exchange of technical information. ARINC sponsors the Airlines Communications Administrative Counci I (ALCAC), composed of the top air1 ne communications officials, which establishes the industry common in
7、terest communications policies. A i r 1 ines Electronic Engineering Committee (AEEC), composed of a i r l i n e technical personne I . The AEEC formu lates standards for e lectroni c equi pment and systems for the airlines. The establishment of Equipment Characteristics 1s a principal function of th
8、is Committee. One of the ALCAC standing committees Is the An ARINC Equipment Characteristic i s final zed after investigation and coordination with the airlines who have a requirement or anticipate a requi remen?, w 1 t h other ai r c r a f t operators, with the Mi I I tary servi ces having similar

Such a release does not commit any a i r l i n e or ARINC t o purchase equipment so described nor does it estab I i sh o r i n
10、di cate recognition of the ex stence of an operati ona I requirement for such equipment, nor does it constitute endorsement of any manufacturers product designed or b u i l t to meet the characteristic. O INTRODUCTION AND DESCRIPTION 1.1 Purpose of this Characteristic This document is intended to set forth the basic require
20、ments for Audible Warning Generat ors specifically designed for installation in all types of c o m e r cia1 aircraft, including supersonic. The intent of this document is to provide general and specific design guidance for the development and installation of an Audible Warning Generator primarily fo
