TEST DETAILS 6.1 Closing Force Test 6.1.1 Prior to the start of the cycle test 6.2, draw a line on the floor parallel to the door in the 45 degree + 2 degrees open position.
13、6.1.2 Conduct the closing force test at the beginning of the cycle test. Test: Open the door to the 45 degree mark on the floor, and position the force gage to contact the door at 30 inches (762 mm) from the pivot axis. 6.1.3 In the case of spring hinges, the manufacturer shall elect to achieve the
14、required closing force with a minimum of two or all three of the hinges being tested and shall clearly indicate the number of hinges required to be tensioned to meet the value specified. 6.2 Cycle Test 6.2.1 Mount hinges or pivots in accordance with 4.1 and 4.2 and set closing force of adjustable hi
15、nges or pivots in accordance with 5.2. 6.2.2 Mechanically open the door to 90 degrees + 5 degrees and release, allowing the hinges or pivots to completely close the door within 5 degrees of the normal closed position. One opening and closing constitutes one cycle. Repeat for the required number of c
