8、is multi art American National Standard specifies the suite of International Standards that comprise ldvanced Data Communication Control Procedures (ADCCP). Data communication control procedures define the means for exchanging data over communication circuits. The Advanced Data Communication Control
9、 procedures (ADCCP) are bit oriented and code independent, and as such represent the state of the art as far as data link layer control procedures are concerned. This 1993 version of ADCCP represents five IS0 International Standards that define high-level data link control (HDLC) rocedures, with the
10、 exception noted below, as the replacements for the X3.66- 1989 version of AD 8 CP. As revisions are made to the International Standards, this part and the affected part will be re-issued by the American National Standards Institute.
