It is not the intention to adopt this International Standard as a British Standard because the load exposure times are considered to be too short to provide meaningful data, and no information on its reproducibi

In Clause 1 “Scope”, reference is made to “standard temperature”. This should be interpreted to mean “standar

16、, (c) BSI BS 903-A5:1997 BSI 04-2000iii Foreword ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies (ISO member bodies). The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO technical committees. Each member bo

International organizations, governmental and non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. ISO collaborates closely with the International Electrot

21、2006, Uncontrolled Copy, (c) BSI BS 903-A5:1997 BSI 04-20001 1 Scope This International Standard specifies a method for determining the tension set characteristics at constant strain of vulcanized or thermoplastic rubbers. The test is intended to measure the ability of rubbers to retain their elasti

NOTE 1Three types of test piece are described: strips, st

Tests made with different types of test piece do not necessarily give the same value of tension set; neither will tests made at different temperatures necessarily place the materials in the same order of merit. 2 Normative references The following standards contain
