The following information on series SSMC connectors is reproduced from the preface of CECC 22180 Issue 2 which does not form part of this Europ
9、ean Standard. Series SSMC connectors have a characteristic impedance of 50 and are normally used for low-power applications, in conjunction with flexible coaxial cables having a dielectric diameter of 0,86 mm to 1,6 mm. The connectors are usable up to a frequency of at least 6 GHz, and may be used a
10、t higher frequencies if a reflection factor greater than 0,25 can be tolerated for straight connectors and 0,33 for right-angle styles. A British Standard does not purport to include all the necessary provisions of a contract. Users of British Standards are responsible for their correct application.

22、lectronic components of assessed quality. The object of the System is to facilitate international trade by the harmonization of the specifications and quality assessment procedures for electronic components, and by the grant of an internationally recognized Mark, or Certificate, of Conformity. The c
23、omponents produced under the System are thereby acceptable in all member countries without testing. This European Standard was prepared by CECC WG 22, RF Connectors. The text of the draft based on document CECC 22 180 Issue 2:1993 was submitted to the formal vote for conversion to a European Standar

Scope This sectional specification (SS) provides information and rules for the preparation of detail specifications (DS) for miniature screw-coupled coaxial connectors Series SSMC. It prescribes mating-face dimensions for g
31、eneral purpose connectors, dimensional details for standard test connectors, Grade 0, together with gauging information and the mandatory tests, selected from CECC 22 000, applicable to all DSs relating to Series SSMC connectors. This specification indicates the recommended performance characteristi
32、cs to be considered when writing a DS, and covers test schedules and inspection requirements for Assessment Levels H, M and U. Gauge A shall be inserted once only into the female centre contact. This is a sizing operation. After this, gauge B shall be inserted into the fema
35、le centre contact. The contact shall support the mass of the gauge in a vertical downward attitude. Note (for information only): Gauge A is used for qualification approval tests only. The normal coupling of 0,2 Nm0,23 Nm shall be applied. Mounting shall be in accordance with 4.1.1 of CECC 22 000, in such a manner that th
49、e specimens can be vibrated in two mutually perpendicular directions, one of which shall be the longitudinal axis of the connectors. Cables shall be clamped to the test table in axial alignment at a distance of (90 10) mm from each cable outlet. The free end of the cable shall be restrained from motion by clamping to a rigid support. Unless otherwise prescribed in the DS the following conditions shall apply: test procedure: endurance by sweeping in accordance with sub-clause 8
