21、ommittee (CECC) is composed of those member countries of the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC) who wish to take part in a harmonized System for electronic components of assessed quality. The object of the System is to facilitate international trade by the harmonizatio
22、n of the specifications and quality assessment procedures for electronic components, and by the grant of an internationally recognized Mark, or Certificate, of Conformity. The components produced under the System are thereby accepted by all member countries without further testing. This specificatio
23、n has been formally approved by the CECC, and has been prepared for those countries taking part in the System who wish to issue national harmonized specifications for fixed capacitors with paper or paper/plastic dielectrics. It should be read in conjunction with the current regulations for the CECC

At the date of printing of this specification the member countries of the CECC are Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Copies of it can be obtained from the addresses shown

General 1.1 Scope
28、 This document lists methods of test and inspection requirements for fixed capacitors with paper or paper/plastic dielectrics. They are primarily intended for use with direct voltage. Capacitors for alternating voltage and pulse applications will be covered by supplements to this document. The follo

CECC 30000, Generic specification: Fixed capacitors. 1.3 Terminology See 2.2 of CECC 30000. 1.4 Marking The following marking information, in the order of importance given below, is
31、 required: a) Rated capacitance (may be indicated by the code given in IEC 62) c) Category voltage and maximum category temperature. d) Tolerance on rated capacitance (may be indicated by the code given in IEC 62). e) Indication as to which termination is connected to the outside foil (where applica

This indication shall be made by a heavy type arrowhead pointing towards the outside foil termination or by any other suitable means. f) Manufacturers name or trade mark. g) Climatic category. h) Manufacturers type designation. i) Week (or month) and year of manufacture (may be indicated by on
33、e of the codes given in IEC 62). j) Reference to the national or CECC number of the detail specification. The capacitor shall be clearly marked with a), b), c), d) above and e) (where applicable) and with as many as possible of the remaining items as are considered useful. The package containing the
34、 capacitor(s) shall be clearly marked with all the information listed above. Any additional marking shall be so applied that no confusion can arise. b) Rated voltage: (d.c. voltage may be indicated by the symbolor Licensed Copy: London South Bank University, London South Bank University, Fri Dec 08

If other values are needed they shall preferably be taken from the E24 series. 2.3 Tolerance on rated capacitance The preferred tolerances on the rated capacitance (CR) are: 5 %, 10 % and 20 %. 2.4 Rated v

NOTEIf other values are used, they shall preferably be chosen from the R10 series. In the detail specification
38、the preferred values shall be underlined. 2.5 Category voltage (UC) The category voltage is equal to the rated voltage, unless otherwise prescribed in the detail specification. 2.6 Ripple voltage The maximum ripple voltage or current permissible (where applicable) at rated temperature shall be state

41、00:1991 BSI 08-19993 Section 3. Quality assessment procedure 3.1 Primary stage of manufacture The primary stage of manufacture is the winding of the capacitor element. 3.2 Certified test records When certified test records are prescribed in the detail specification, the information required in 3.5.1
42、 of CECC 30000 shall be made available when requested by a purchaser. After the endurance test the parameters for which variable information are required are the capacitance change, tan and the insulation resistance. 3.3 Qualification approval 3.3.1 Sampling The sample shall be representative of the
43、 range of capacitors for which approval is sought. This may or may not be the complete range covered by the detail specification. The sample shall consist of specimens having the lowest and highest voltages, and for these voltages the lowest and highest capacitances. When there are more than four ra
44、ted voltages, an intermediate voltage shall also be tested. Thus for the approval of a range, testing is required of either four or six values (capacitance/voltage combinations). Where the range consists of less than four values, the number of specimens to be tested shall be that required for four v
45、alues. The test schedule and the samples required for qualification approval are given Table 1. The headings of columns No. 4 to 10 have the following significance: Spares are permitted as follows: One per value which may be used to replace the permitted defective in Group 0 One per value which may
46、be used as replacements for specimens lost or accidentally damaged during the tests. 3.3.2 Tests The complete series of tests specified in Table 1 are required for the approval of capacitors covered by one detail specification. The test of each group shall be carried out in the order stated. The who
47、le sample shall be subjected to the tests of Group 0 and then divided for testing in the other groups. Specimens found to be defective during the tests of Group 0 shall not be used for other groups. When a capacitor has not satisfied the whole or a part of the tests of a group, this capacitor is cou
48、nted as “one defective”. The approval is granted when the number of defectives does not exceed the number of permissible defectives specified. 3.4 Quality conformance inspection 3.4.1 Groups A and B inspection These tests shall be carried out on a lot-by-lot basis according to Table 2. A manufacture
49、r may aggregate the current production into inspection lots subject to the following safeguards: a) The inspection lot shall consist of capacitors produced with similar processes and materials, though they may be of different case sizes and values. 4This is the number of specimens to be tested per value for each group or sub-group. 5This is the total number of specimens required when four or less values are to be tested. 8This is the total number of specimens required when six values are to be tested. 6 and 9 Thes
