The range of values available in each style is given in PD 9002. 1.1 Derating. Resistors covered by thi
、s specification are derated linearly from 100 % of rated dissipation at 70 C to 35.3 % of rated dissipation at 125 C. The dissipation below 70 C is the rated dissipation. Critical resistance for all styles shall be taken as approximately 24 k7 at both ratings. 2 Marking of the component and package
、The marking of the component and package shall be in accordance with the requirements of 2.4 of BS E9110:1974. Bending of a termination should not occur at a point less than
、 2 mm from the point of emergence of the termination. The minimum bend radius should be the diameter of the termination. 6.2 Maximum surface temperature. The maximum surface temperature will be as follows: 7 Inspection requirements 7.1 An inspection lot shall consist of resistors of the same style.
、It should be representative of those extremes of the resistance range produced during the period. Styles having the same nominal dimensions but different temperature characteristics of resistance produced during the period may be aggregated, except for the purposes of subgroups which contain a test
、for temperature characteristics of resistance. The extremes or any critical value of the ranges of resistance and temperature characteristics of resistance for which Qualification Approval has been granted shall be inspected during a period which is approved by the National Supervising Inspectorate.
、 The samples for groups “C” and “D” shall be collected over the last 13 weeks of the inspection period. “Low” values shall be within + 200 %, 0 % of the lowest currently approved resistance value (or lowest value manufactured within the approval range). “High” values shall be within + 0 %, 30 % of t
、he highest currently approved resistance value (or highest value produced within the approval range). “Critical” values shall be within + 0 %, 20 % of the calculated value. 7.2 Samples submitted to tests which are marked “(D)” shall not be accepted for release under BS 9000 (see 2.6.5 of BS 9000-1).
、 7.3 Components to be tested at 125 C for endurance will be tested at the category dissipation.
