17、/TC 256, Railway applications, the Secretariat of which is held by DIN. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by June 1999, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the late

25、SI Page 3 EN 12561-1:1998 BSI 05-1999 1 Scope This European Standard lays down the markings for tank wagons used for the carriage of: liquefied gases of class 2 of the RID; substances of classes 3, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 5.1, 5.2, 6.1, 6.2, 8 and 9 of the RID carried in the liquid state. Compressed gases ha
26、ve not been considered in this European Standard. This European Standard defines also the dimensions and the fixing of identification plates and various particulars to be marked on them. 2 Normative references This European Standard incorporates by dated or undated reference, provisions from other p
27、ublications. These normative references are cited at the appropriate places in the text and the publications are listed hereafter.
