2、N 13480-3:2002 This British Standard was published under the authority of the Standards Policy and Strategy Committee on 4 July 2002 BSI 2007 ISBN 978 0 580 59272 0 National foreword This British Standard is the UK implementation of EN 13480-3:2002, incorporating amendments A1:2005 and A2:2006. It p
3、artially supersedes BS 806:1993 which is withdrawn. When the reference to this European Standard has been published in the Official Journal of the European Communities (OJ), compliance with it will confer a presumption of conformity with the essential requirements covered by the standard in respect
4、of the Pressure Equipment Directive. The UK participation in its preparation was entrusted to Technical Committee PVE/10, Industrial piping systems. A list of organizations represented on this committee can be obtained on request to its secretary. This publication does not purport to include all the

22、 2 c ci pzf pzfD e(6.1-4) NOTEThis is Lams equation. 6.2Pipe bends and elbows 6.2.1General There are two methods for calculating the wall thickness of elbows (see 6.2.3.1 and Annex B) and three methods for the wall thickness of pipe bends (see 6.2.3.1, 6.2.3.2 and Annex B). The chosen method shall b
23、e used in its entirety. The equations given in 6.2.3 shall be applicable only if the out-of-roundness of the pipes bends are within the tolerances given in EN 13480-4. NOTEThese calculation rules take into account 1 and 2 that upon applying internal pressure to a pipe bend, higher stresses occur on
24、the intrados of the bend (and lower stresses on the extrados of the bend) than on a straight pipe with identical wall thickness. 6.2.2Symbols For the purposes of 6.2, the symbols given in Table 6.2.2-1 shall apply in addition to those given in Table 3.2-1.
