23、d transport. This paper provides the definition of the United Nations Standard Inventory Report Message to be used in Electronic Data Interchange between trading partners. A message specifying information relating to held inventories. The Inventory report message is intended to be used in either dir
24、ection between trading partners. 2 Normative references This standard incorporates by dated or undated reference, provisions from other publications. These normative references are cited at the appropriate places in the text and the publications are listed hereafter. For dated references, subsequent
25、 amendments to or revisions of any of these publications apply to this standard only when incorporated in it by amendment or revision. 26、 UN/ECE UNSM General Introduction1). 3 Definitions For the purposes of this standard, the following definitions apply: UNTDID (see normative reference). 4 Requirements 4.1 Data segment clarification This section should be read in conjunction with the branching diagram and the segment table which ind
27、icate mandatory, conditional and repeating requirements. The following guidelines and principles apply to the whole message and are intended to facilitate the understanding and implementation of the message. All specified dates/times should be in the format “yymmdd”/“hhmm” unless all the parties inv
28、olved in the transaction agree that there is a functional requirement for an alternative form. Periods should be specified as whole numbers representing the required period as indicated to the format qualifier (weeks, months, etc.) Where a choice of code or text is given only the code element should
29、 be used wherever possible. Conditional data that is not required in the message should not be included. Care must be taken that the segment qualifier in dependent segments does not conflict with the segment qualifier of the trigger segment of the group. 4.1.1 Header section Information to be provid
30、ed in the header section. UNH, Message header A service segment starting and uniquely identifying a message. The message code for the UN Inventory Report Message is “INVRPT”. NOTEInventory Report messages conforming to this document must contain the following data in UNH, composite S009: BGM, Beginn
31、ing of message A segment for unique identification of the Inventory Report document, name and its number. DTM, Date/time/period Date/time/period related to the whole message. Segment Group 1: RFF-DTM A group of segments giving references and where necessary, their dates relating to the whole message
32、, e.g. a contract, dispatch advice number, etc. RFF, Reference A segment for referencing documents relating to the whole inventory reporting message, e.g. a contract, dispatch advice number, etc. DTM, Date/time/period Date/time/period as applied to the referred document. Segment Group 2: NAD-LOC-SG3
33、-SG4 A group of segments identifying names, addresses and locations relevant to the whole message. NAD, Name and address A segment for identifying names and addresses and their functions relevant for the whole Inventory Report. Indications of the parties involved is recommended for the Inventory Rep
34、ort message. They are to be given in the NAD segment. RFF, Reference A segment for referencing documents and other numbers pertinent to the NAD segment. DTM, Date/time/period Date/time/period as

Segment Group 4: CTA-COM A group of segments to identify person, function, department, and where appropriate, numbers to which the communications should be directed. CTA, Contact information A segment to identify person, function, department, to whom communications
38、 should be directed. COM, Communication contact Identifying communication types and numbers for the entities specified in CTA, e.g. FAX, TELEX, telephone, etc. Segment Group 5: CUX-DTM A group of segments to indicate currencies used for financial evaluation. CUX, Currencies A segment specifying curr
39、encies and, if required, rates of exchange for the whole message, e.g. evaluation currency. DTM, Date/time/period Date/time/period as applied to the currencies. 4.1.2 Detail section Information to be provided in the detail section. Segment Group 6: CPS-SG7 A group of segments providing details of al
40、l package levels of the inventory report. This segment group provides the capability to give the hierarchical relationship. The group defines a local top-down packaging structure. CPS, Consignment packing sequence A segment identifying the sequence in which packing has been done, e.g. handling unit
41、(pallet), package (box). Segment Group 7: PAC-PCI-SG8 A group of segments identifying packaging, marks and numbers, date and time information. PAC, Package A segment specifying the number and type of packages. DE7224, number of packages must not be used. PCI, Package identification A segment specify
42、ing markings and labels used on individual physical units (packages) described in the PAC segment. Segment Group 8: QTY-GIN-DTM A group of segments providing package quantities with package identification and relevant date/time information. QTY, Quantity A segment to provide quantity information sui
43、tably qualified for the packages referred to in the PAC sequent, e.g. opening quantity, closing quantity, adjustment quantity. This quantity segment may contain any number of packages. GIN, Goods identity number A segment to provide serial-, batch-, label- or packaging number. These may be simple nu
44、mbers or ranges of numbers. DTM, Date/time/period Date/time/period relevant to the package, e.g. production date, expiry date, etc. Segment Group 9: LIN-PIA-IMD-MEA-ALI-LOC-DTM-SG10-SG11 A group of segments providing detailed information on each line of the inventory report. LIN, Line item A segment
45、 identifying a specific line in the inventory report. All other segments in the detail section refer to the line item. IMD, Item description A segment for describing the product or package. MEA, Measurements A segment specifying physical measurements in the inventory item, either in original or pack
