15、oreword This European Standard has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 222 “Feather and down as filling material for any article, as well as finished articles filled with feather and down“, the secretariat of which is held by UNI. This European Standard shall be given the status of a nationa
16、l standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by April 2002, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by April 2002. The text was prepared by CEN/TC 222/WG3 “Other finished articles filled with feather and down e.g. clothing, sleep
17、ing bags, cushions“, the Secretariat of which is held by France. This standard includes a Bibliography. 33、tion The producer shall declare the composition of the filling material intended for feather and/or down filled clothing articles determined according to EN 12934 and determined according to EN 12131, after sampling according to EN 1883. 4.2.2 Hygienic and cleanliness requirements The filling materi
34、al shall conform to the requirements specified in EN 12935. 4.3 Finished article The finished article shall conform to the following requirements: 4.3.1Washable product The average dimensional change in width or length of the product determined according to EN 25077, EN ISO 6330 and EN ISO 3759 shal

36、ions reported in the care label (EN 23758). 4.3.2Dry-cleanable product The average dimensional change in width or length of the product determined according to EN ISO 3175-1, EN ISO 3175-2 and EN 25077 shall not exceed 2 %, the value of water repellency and down-proofness defined in Table 1, shall b
37、e maintained after one cleaning. 5Labelling Each product shall be labelled, at least, with the following information: -reference to this standard, -textile fiber composition of the fabrics, -filling composition according to EN 12934, -size, -identification (trade name or producer or retailer), -care
