After inquiries and votes carried out in accordance with the rules of this Association, this standard has successively received the approval of the National Associations and t
20、he Official Services of the member countries of AECMA, prior to its presentation to CEN. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by November 1993, and conflicting national standards shall be
21、withdrawn at the latest by November 1993. 23、gives the general rules for the use of the manufacturing schedule, the inspection schedule and the inspection and test report when they are contractual documents requested by the purchaser. It shall be applicable whenever referenced. 2 Normative references This European Standard incorporates by date
24、d or undated reference, provisions from other publications. These normative references are cited in the appropriate places in the text and the publications are listed hereafter. For dated references, subsequent amendments to or revisions of any of these publications apply to this European Standard o
25、nly when incorporated in it by amendment or revision. For undated references the latest edition of the publication referred to applies. 27、ser see EN 2000 4 Description and rules for use 4.1 Manufacturing schedule The production methods and processes for products and parts are generally left to the discretion of the manufacturer. However, whenever, because of the special properties required by the purchaser due to difficulties of produ
28、ction and/or the vital function of the part in service, it is essential there should be strict observance of the methods of manufacture finally chosen, these methods together with the satisfactory results of inspection and testing carried out on the pre-production parts shall be recorded in a docume
29、nt called “Manufacturing schedule”. This document is and remains the property of the manufacturer. The purchasers or users design office and/or a representative of the Quality Assurance organization and/or of the Quality Assurance Authorities shall be allowed to have access to and refer to it. No mo
30、dification of the methods or techniques of manufacture of the product already accepted by the purchaser shall be made by the manufacturer without giving prior notice to the purchasers and/or users design office and/or the Quality Assurance representative. The latter may require that the manufacturer
31、 guarantee that the conformance of the parts delivered has not been affected by these modifications and require proof of this. If special materials, products or properties are required, the purchaser may call for collaboration with the manufacturer in the preparation and approval of the manufacturin
32、g schedule. In this case, the schedule set up by the manufacturer again remains his property but requires to be approved by the purchaser and, where necessary, by the Official Services before routine production of the materials or products commences. In any case, the requirements for commercial secr
33、ecy shall be applied to the manufacturing schedule. 4.2 Inspection schedule The general requirements for inspection and testing of a product or part are specified in the relevant standard. Any special or additional requirements requested by the purchaser for a particular product or parts shall be in
34、dicated to the manufacturer on the drawing and/or shall be covered by a document accepted by the two parties. For example: that an optional test, called up by the standard, should be mandatory for a special part, the grain flow and position of cut up test samples from a forging. This document is cal

36、tests carried out on each batch of products or parts, as well as all information ensuring full traceability of the batch. He shall quote the results of the tests prescribed by the relevant standard, as well as those required by the drawing and/or inspection schedule when the order provides for this.
37、 By this document, the manufacturer accepts the responsibility for the conformance of the products or parts with the requirements of the order. It shall therefore be signed by the person responsible for the quality control of the manufacturer and contain a clause certifying compliance of the product
38、s or parts delivered, with the requirements of the order and the relevant standards. This document is called “Inspection and test report”.
