It is identical with ISO 105-E09:1989. It supersedes the relevant method in BS 1006:1990 which is withdra

The UK participation in its preparation was entrusted by Technical Committee TCI/25, Chemical properties, to Subcommittee TCI/25/-/10, Colour fastness, which has the responsibility to: aid enquirers to understand the text; present to the responsible international/European committee
5、any enquiries on the interpretation, or proposals for change, and keep the UK interests informed; monitor related international and European developments and promulgate them in the UK. 16、ternational Organization for Standardization (ISO) has been taken over as an European Standard by Technical Committee CEN/TC 248, Textiles and textile products, the Secretariat of which is held by BSI. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of
17、an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by October 1997, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by October 1997. According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of the following countries are bound to implement this Euro
18、pean Standard: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. 22、andardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies (ISO member bodies). The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been established has the rig
23、ht to be represented on that committee. International organizations, governmental and non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. ISO collaborates closely with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization. Draft Interna
24、tional Standards adopted by the technical committees are circulated to the member bodies for approval before their acceptance as International Standards by the ISO Council.
