It supersedes the relevant method in BS 1006:1990 which is withdrawn by amendment. The UK participation in its preparation was entrusted by Technical Committee TCI/2
4、5, Chemical properties, to Subcommittee TCI/25/-/10, Colour fastness, which has the responsibility to: aid enquirers to understand the text; present to the responsible international/European committee any enquiries on the interpretation, or proposals for change, and keep the UK interests informed; m

15、Organization for Standardization (ISO) has been taken over as an European Standard by Technical Committee CEN/TC 248, Textiles and textile products, the Secretariat of which is held by BSI. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
16、 text or by endorsement, at the latest by October 1997, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by October 1997. According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of the following countries are bound to implement this European Standar
17、d: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. 20、onal standards bodies (ISO member bodies). The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been established has the right to be represented on that committee. Internat
21、ional organizations, governmental and non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. ISO collaborates closely with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization. Draft International Standards adopted by the technical commit
22、tees are circulated to the member bodies for approval before their acceptance as International Standards by the ISO Council. They are approved in accordance with ISO procedures requiring at least 75 % approval by the member bodies voting. International Standard ISO 105-E07 was prepared by Technical
23、Committee ISO/TC 38, Textiles. This third edition cancels and replaces the second edition (ISO 105-E07:1987), of which it constitutes a technical revision. ISO 105 was previously published in 13 “parts”, each designated by a letter (e.g. “Part A”), with publication dates between 1978 and 1985. Each
