18、 secretariat of which is held by UNI. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by December 2007, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by December 2008. This docu
19、ment supersedes EN 859:1997. This document has been prepared under a mandate given to CEN by the European Commission and the European Free Trade Association, and supports essential requirements of the Machinery Directive. For relationship with EU Directive, see informative Annex ZA, which is an inte
20、gral part of this document. Organisation contributing to the preparation of this document include the European Association of Manufacturer of Woodworking Machines “EUMABOIS“. The European Standards produced by CEN/TC 142 are particular to woodworking machines and complement the relevant A and B stan
