11、on formats for spoken audio content. Separating format considerations allows listening characteristics to be based on the desired user experience, without limitations imposed by existing formats. One or more companion standards define how the characteristics defined here are implemented in a given f
12、ormat. Content publishers and player manufacturers need to acquire the associated CEA standard for the desired playback format. 4 Required Characteristics The following characteristics are considered essential for a good listening experience with spoken audio content. The characteristics are designa
13、ted for easy reference. Although these characteristics are essential, this standard is not the means by which content or players are measured for compliance. Normative elements are contained in the associated format standards. a) Play audiobook content in “well-defined“ or standard order that is, th
