2、RD BOLTS, SCREWS, STUDS AND NUTS Specifications OKP (All-Union Product Classification Code) 12 8200, 12 8300, 12 8400 GOST 1759.0-87 CMEA Standard 4203-83 Term from 01.01.89 This Standard applies to bolts, screws, studs and nuts with metric thread in accordance with GOST 24705-81, from 1 to 48 mm in
3、 diameter. 1. KEY PARAMETERS AND DIMENSIONS 1.1. The design, dimensions and surface roughness of bolts, screws, studs and nuts are established in product standards. 1.2. Tolerances of dimensions, form and position of bolts, screws, studs and nuts surfaces shall be in accordance with GOST 1759.1-82.
4、Thread basic deviations shall be specified in accordance with GOST 16093-81, depending on the required thickness of coating. Thread tolerance ranges shall be specified for items without coating. The requirements for thread after coating shall be in accordance with GOST 16093-81. (Amended Wording, Am
5、endment No. 1). 1.3. At the customers request it is allowed to produce bolts, screws and studs with the increased or decreased thread length. 1.4. By agreement between the manufacturer and the customer it is allowed to produce: bolts, studs and nuts with left-hand thread; bolts with one lock hole in

Permissible deviations of the form from that specified in design standards for bolts, screws, studs and nuts of all accuracy
7、 classes shall comply with those specified in Appendix 5. 2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS 2.1. Appearance 2.1.1. Bolts, screws, studs and nuts surface shall be clean, without corrosion marks and mechanical damage. 2.1.2. Permissible surface defects of bolts, screws and studs shall be in accordance with GO
8、ST 1759.2-82. 2.1.3. Permissible surface defects of nuts shall be in accordance with GOST 1759.3-83. 2.2. Mechanical properties and materials 2.2.1. Mechanical properties of bolts, screws (except for set ones) and studs, made of carbon plain and alloyed steel, shall be in accordance with GOST 1759.4
9、-87. 2.2.2. Mechanical properties of setscrews and similar fasteners not working in tension, made of carbon plain and alloyed steel shall be in accordance with GOST 25556- 82. 2.2.3. Mechanical properties of nuts made of carbon plain and alloyed steel shall be in accordance with GOST 1759.5-87. 2.2.

Mechanical properties of bolts, screws, studs and nuts made of rust-resisting, high-temperature, heat-resistant and thermostable steels, and also the recommended steel grades shall comply with Tables 1 and 2. 2.2.5. Mechanical properties of bolts, screws, studs and nuts made of non-ferrous alloys
11、, and also the recommended alloy grades shall comply with Tables 3 and 4. 2.2.6. It is allowed to produce bolts, screws, studs and nuts from materials and alloys not specified in Tables 1 to 4. In this case their mechanical properties shall be of no lower than those specified for corresponding group
12、s. 2.2.7. At the customers request, the fasteners made of brass by cold heading, shall be heat-treated for internal stress relief. 2.3. Coatings 2.3.1. Bolts, screws, studs and nuts shall be produced with one of coating types in accordance with Table 5 or without coating. It is allowed to apply othe
13、r types of coating in accordance with GOST 9.303-84. 2.3.2. Choice of coating thickness shall be in accordance with GOST 9.303-84. 2.3.3.
