1、 WORLDWIDE ENGINEERING STANDARDS General Specification HVAC Ps +0/-50 kPaG 4.3.6 Resonant Speed. The compressor shall be run at its first mode torsional shaft resonant speed per the requirements shown in the Table 9 below. The compressor and clutch should be broken in as follow: a. 4 h of continuous
2、 run at 2000 RPM 1830 kPa discharge pressure with 40C X40%, 118 L/s evaporator conditions. Compressor ambient temperature shall be controlled at 100C. b. 10 h of cycling 10 s on/5 off at the above load conditions, but 4000 RPM. 4.3.6.1 Test Conditions. Run 10 deg SH at inlet. The compressor shall withstand vibration durability running a 180 s cycle as shown below with loads applied in the radial and axial direct
5、ions for 30 h in each direction (90 hrs total). A sample of at least three random samples from production shall meet this requirement. 6、Not Applicable 4.3.7.1 Vibration Test with vehicle load data. If vehicle load data is available, the compressor including all attachment parts/bracket shall be installed with original fixtures. The A/C lines to be used are 350 mm of min. long or correspond to the installation in the vehicle and shal
7、l be fastened to the static part of the test stand. The test duration shall be selected according to load level -crossing collective and field of application of the vehicle model. Europe: E0 to GME R-0-17 Worldwide: G0 to GMW3425 The load pattern is to be provided by GM and shall be mapped on the te
8、st stand of the supplier. If a load pattern is not applicable the following test parameters shall be used: 4.3.7.2 Requirements after vibration test. There shall be no loss in mounting boss torque, no fracture or cracking of compressor housing, no damage to the pulley bearing, no loss in torque of c
9、ompressor assembly bolts and no internal damage to bearings or bearing surfaces. 4.3.8 Control Valve Device Durability (not used). 4.3.9 Thermal Cycle. The compressor shall withstand a minimum of 10 thermal cycles from -40 to 135C with a minimum dwell at each temperature of four h. Charge the compre
10、ssor with a gas charge of refrigerant at room temperature prior to test. Leak rate during test shall be less than that of 3.10.1. Requirements after test shall include leak test and performance per section 3.8. 4.3.10 Migration. The compressor shall not fail when started after being subjected to the
11、 100 cycles of the test matrix shown below. Failure is defined as listed in section 4.2, any abnormal wear found on the shoes/swashplate surface during that exceeds the wear seen on teardowns after the customer usage test or having an oil quantity that is less than the supplier bogie for a given swa
12、shplate design (default will be to use 25 g if nothing is available from the supplier). This test shall be run with representative system components. Note: For dual evaporator systems, when the test calls for system operation, there shall be no airflow to the rear evaporator. Test definition: This i
13、s a laboratory test that must use all refrigerant system components at the correct orientations relative each other as installed in a vehicle on a flat surface. Pretest, the set up must stabilize all chambers to 15C prior to starting test cycles and the compressor shall be run ten minutes at 1500 cr
14、pm in order to circulate the oil throughout the system and provide a common start point. Once the system is shut down the regular test cycles can begin. One cycle is represented by Table 11. Run conditions for post cycle (effec
17、tively cycle 101) startup: 1) Take the chambers back up to the 120 minute point test condition 2) Take crpm to 1000 3) Engage compressor and run system for 5 minutes 4) Remove compressor for performance evaluations and teardown analysis 4.3 Service Requirements. 4.3.1 Oil amount in service compresso
18、rs. 4.3.1.1 Service compressors shall come shipped with 75 ml of the compressor oil recommended by the compressor supplier unless otherwise approved by the regional service engineer representatives. 4.3.1.2 Through normal service draining process of the compressor with no unusual special steps to ai
19、d in the removal of the oil, the supplier shall demonstrate that the compressor will not retain more than 15% of the total OEM system charge oil amount after 5 minutes. Deviations from these requirements require approval from Regional Service Engineers for each local application. Compressors that ut
20、ilize special oil retention features resulting in low system oil charge may also be adjusted upon the direction of the Regional Service Engineers. 4.3.2 Labeling Requirements. The compressor label shall not identify the supplier name in either service or OEM production in compliance with branding gu
