3、ing capacity and of 1.4 to 4MPa (14 to 40 kg (f)/cm2) absolute pressure. This Standard establishes the requirements imposed on boilers manufactured both for the needs of the national economy and for export. This Standard does not apply to waste-heat boilers, industrial auxiliary boilers and electric
4、ally heated boilers. When boilers are manufactured for export, departures from the terms of this Standard are allowed by agreement between the manufacturer and the foreign trade organization. (Amended Wording, Amendment No. 4). 1. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS 1.1. General requirements 1.1.1. Boilers shall
5、 be manufactured in conformity with the terms of this Standard, GOST 3619-89, the “Rules on the Construction and Safe Operation of Steam and Hot-Water Boilers“ approved by the USSR Gosgortekhnadzor (USSR State Mining Safety Inspectorate), and following the production drawings approved in accordance

The n
7、ominal parameters of the boilers shall be ensured for when site altitude is no more than 500m above sea level and the ambient temperature is in the range of 5 to 30C. By agreement between manufacturer and customer, these site conditions may be changed. 1.2. Design requirements 1.2.1. Boilers shall b
8、e of modular design. The modularity indices shall be established in Standards and specifications on boilers of specific nominal sizes. Modules shall be equipped with roping fixtures both for handling and for placing them in permanent position. (Amended wording, Amendment No. 3). 1.2.2. The number of
9、 packaged modules shall be no more than two for gas-fired and oil- fired boilers of up to 16 t/h steam-generating capacity, and for boilers of up to 10 t/h steam- generating capacity with tail heat-transfer surfaces and without spreader stokers; and no more than three for boilers of 25t/h steam-gene
10、rating capacity (without tail heat-transfer surfaces and spreader stokers). Component parts of the modules are specified in Appendix 1. The calculation of the modularity index for boilers of 35 to 160 t/h steam-generating capacity is presented in Appendix 2. The modularity of multifuel boilers shall
11、 be established in specifications on boilers of specific types. (Amended Wording, Amendment Nos. 1, 2, 3). 1.2.3. The following shall be provided for in the design of the boilers: adjustment of the steam-generating capacity within the control range in compliance, with average rates indicated in spec
12、ifications and technical documentation of the boilers, with technical feasibility being available to maintain stipulated or specified values for the controlled variables; in addition, for the newly developed boilers, automatic start and shutdown features from various thermal states. 1.2.4. Boilers s
13、hall be equipped with stable performance corresponding with the requirements of the automatic control. 1.2.3, 1.2.4. (Amended Wording, Amendment No. 1). 1.2.5. The adjustment range of all the controls shall allow for the operation of the boilers in compliance with Clause 1.6.5. 1.2.6. The boilers sh
14、all be equipped with devices for hooking up gauges to measure and record all the performance variables and signals. GOST 24005 80 p. 3 1.2.7. Gas-fired and oil-fired boilers, which are manufactured as modules with built-in heating surfaces, shall allow for operation under pressurization. 1.2.8. The
15、design of the boilers shall ensure the ability to withstand earthquakes measured 7 on the MSK-64 scale. The features required for boilers intended for sites of over 7 seismicity shall be by agreement between the manufacturer and the customer. 1.2.9. The design of a boiler shall permit it to operate
16、within the control range without changing the components of the auxiliary equipment. (Amended Wording, Amendment No. 1). 1.2.10. The design of the boilers shall allow the performance of both pre-starting and running cleaning of internal contamination. 1.2.11. Pulverized-coal fired boilers meant for
17、burning ash-rich fuel shall be equipped with devices preventing ash erosion of the heating surfaces. 1.2.12. Boilers, which are manufactured as modules with built-in air pre-heaters, shall be equipped with devices for cleaning exterior soiling from the heating surfaces (blowers, shot cleaners, etc.)
18、. 1.2.13. The boilers shall be equipped with automatic control including: automatic control of the process variables; process protection and interlocking; digital algorithm control (for entirely self-acting boilers). The range and the extent of the automatic control shall be established in the speci
19、fications on boilers of specific types. 1.3. Safety Requirements 1.3.1. The design of the boilers and instrumentation shall comply with safety requirements in accordance with GOST 12.1.005-88 and GOST 12.2.003-91, the “Rules on the Construction and Safe Operation of Steam and Hot-Water Boilers“ appr
20、oved by USSR Gosgortekhnadzor (USSR State Mining Safety Inspectorate), with the explosion-proofing requirements set forth in GOST 12.1.010-76, and in the specifications and technical documentation of the boilers. 1.3.2. The temperature of the boiler enclosure surfaces shall comply with the requireme
21、nts of the “Rules on the Construction and Safe Operation of Steam and Hot-Water Boilers“ approved by the USSR Gosgortekhnadzor. -,-,- p. 4 GOST 24005 80 1.3.3. Boilers, which are manufactured as modules with built-in air pre-heaters, shall be equipped with air pre-heater fire-extinguishing equipment
22、. 1.3.4. The noise levels at the operators positions shall not exceed the values indicated in GOST 12.1.003-83. 1.3.5. The vibration parameters at the operators positions shall not exceed the values indicated in GOST 12.1.012-90. 1.3.6. Boilers and their elements shall be painted in accordance with
23、GOST 12.4.026-76; the controls shall be marked with signs in accordance with GOST 12.4.040-78. 1.4. Reliability 1.4.1. The service life shall be no less than: 20 years for boilers with a steam-generating capacity under 35 t/h; 30 years for boilers with a steam-generating capacity of 35 t/h or more .

The overhaul period shall be no less than: 3.5 years for fuel-bed boilers of under 35 t/h steam-generation capacity, and for chamber- firing boilers of up to 75 t/h, inclusive, steam-generation capacity; 4 years for chamber firing boilers of over 7 5t/h steam-generation capacity .
