8、ditional References. Global Occupant Protection Subsystem Technical Specification (SSTS) 3 Subsystem Requirements 3.1 Functional Overview. The Post Collision Operation Subsystem includes two functions: Event Data Recording and Fuel Shutdown. The Event Data Recording (EDR) system provides for the per
9、manent retention of vehicle operating parameters following a collision event. The Vehicle Platform records certain information regarding the operating status of Powertrain as part of its EDR functionality. To support this functionality the Powertrain shall periodically transmit information indicatin
10、g its operational status during normal vehicle operation, independent of any collision indication, so as to refresh the data available in the Vehicle Platforms volatile data buffer. 11、March 2006 The Fuel Shutdown function provides the capability to shut the fuel delivery system off in a controlled manner after a collision has been detected. 3.2 Hardware Overview. 3.2.1 Block Diagram. The following block diagram (Figure 1) depicts a typical mechanization for the Pre and Post Colli
12、sion Operation between the Platform- Powertrain Electrical Interface. This interface is the only standard defined. 3.3.1 Serial Data Link. Reference GMW8762 Section 4 PPEI GMLAN Serial Data Signal and Definitions and Framing for definitions of signals listed below in Table 1. 3.3.2 Calibrations. The
13、 following Table 2 contains calibrations that cross the Platform Powertrain Electrical Interface (i.e., are located in devices on one side of the interface but controlled by the other side of the interface or driven by variation in the other side of the interface). Refer to Section 4 for details. 3.

21、n fuel shutdown based upon an airbag deployment, if desired the Post Collision Fuel Shutdown (PCFS) algorithm may be enabled/disabled by the use of a calibration. If the vehicle is equipped with an airbag system and in the event of airbag deployment, the platform will transmit the GMLAN signal Airba
22、g Deployed to the ECM. Upon receiving this signal, the ECM shall execute the fuel shutdown algorithm within 100ms. The vehicle has to virtually stop for a calibratable period of time before a controlled shutdown of the fuel delivery system is performed. Some features of the fuel shutdown algorithm a
23、re as follows: A. If a vehicle speed fault exists and the vehicle speed cannot be determined, fuel shutdown will not be performed. B. Engine starting after a fuel shutdown will be enabled within the standard Immobilizer logic (i.e. the vehicle acts the same as it would with any stall). If the vehicl
24、e has been below a calibrated speed continuously for a calibrated period of time, and the Airbag Deployed is ”True” and the Airbag Virtual Device Availability is equal to “Virtual Device Available”, then the fuel shutdown action is triggered as follows: 1.
