7、ing and foundry industries. 13、oping alloy of iron and tungsten with a minimum tungsten content of 70.0% (mass) and a maximum tungsten content of 85.0% (mass) obtained by reduction. 4 ORDERING The following information shall be specified in an order for ferrotungsten: a) quantity; b) method of batch composing; c) chemical composi
14、tion in accordance with table 1 and (or) table 1a; d) piece size range according to table 2; e) requirements for the analysis record and packing. 5 TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS 5.1 Composing a batch -,-,- GOST 17293-93 Ferrotungsten shall be shipped in batches composed by one of the following methods. 5.1
15、.1 Heat-based method A batch composed by the heat-based method shall consist of ferrotungsten produced as one heat (or as one part of a continuous heat). 5.1.2 Brand-based method A batch composed by the brand-based method shall consist of several heats (or parts of continuous heats) of one ferrotung
16、sten brand. The manganese content in the heats (or parts of continuous heats) composing a batch shall not differ by more than 3%. 5.1.3 Mixed method A batch composed by the mixed method shall consist of several heats (or parts of continuous heats) of one ferrotungsten brand, which shall be crushed t
17、o a lump size smaller than 50 mm and stirred carefully. The content of the main element in the heats (or parts of continuous heats) composing a batch may vary within the minimum and maximum limits established for the given ferrotungsten brand. 5.2 Chemical composit ion 5.2.1 The chemical composition
18、 of ferrotungsten shall comply with that specified in table 1 and table 1a. At the customers request and with consent of the manufacturer, narr
20、ower intervals of the mass fractions of the basic elements and (or) limits of unspecified elements may be established. 5.2.3 The chemical composition is specified to within the accuracy of the methods for ferrotungsten sampling and analysis (see Section 6).
