TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS 1.1. Spring-friction draft gears (hereinafter referr
3、ed to as gears) shall be produced pursuant to the requirements of this Standard under the working drawings approved in accordance with established procedure. 1.2. Not specified dimensional and mass tolerances of steel castings of draft gears shall be of 11 class of accuracy of GOST 26645-85. 1.3. Th
4、e draft gear capacity in the unrun and run-in conditions, and also the housing strength shall comply with gears specifications and technical documentation. N o t e . The capacity shall be understood as a work made by the gear during its full impact compression (closing). The full gear compression is
5、 characterized by up to 1 to 2 mm contortion of a soft metal (for example, 2 in accordance with GOST 380-88) wire of 3 mm in diameter, located on the housing mouth face. 1.4. The housings and the housing mouths shall be made of steel grades specified in table 1, smelted in open-hearth or electric fu
6、rnaces. To provide the requirements of this Standard the phosphorus content deviation +0.01 % is allowed for steel grade 30-. Application of other steel grades providing the requirements of this Standard is allowed by agreemen
9、t with the customer. 1.5. The housings and the housing mouths shall be heat-treated (heat hardened and tempered). 1.6. The mechanical properties of steel for housings and housing mouths shall, after final heat treatment, be not less than those specified in table 2. T a b l e 2 Yield point 0.2, MPa (

The housings and the housing mouths hardness shall be 207 . 255. 1.8. Housin
11、g bases and the rods shall be casted of steel of grades 20 or 25 in accordance with GOST 977-88, smelted in electric or open-hearth furnaces and subjected to normalization. Application of other steel grades providing the requirements of this Standard is allowed by agreement with the customer. -,-,-
12、22253-76 3 The wedges, cones and washers of gears for all rolling-stock modes shall comply with the requirements specified in table 3. It is allowed to make a wedge, cone and washer of other steel grades, in this case the type of heat trea

The fracture mode and microstructure of steel of heat-treated housings, housing mouths and bases shall conform to the samples approved in accordance with the established pr
15、ocedure. 1.10. The gears molded pieces shall be dressed in accordance with GOST 977-88. 1.11. The housing and housing mouth cracks in the places of wedges location and also wedges and cones cracks are not allowed and not subject to reconstruction. 1.12. The types, quantity, dimensions and location o
16、f defects allowed without reconstruction and subject to reconstruction before and after the final heat treatment, and also the defect attack methods shall be established in the specifications and technical documentation for gear components. 1.13. The gear springs shall comply with GOST 1452-86, the
17、coupling bolts nuts shall comply with GOST 15526-70, coupling bolts shall comply with the bolts specifications and technical documentation. 1.14. The housings and housing bases shall be steady when installed on a control plate or special supports. Nonflatness of the housing (or housing base) bearing
18、 surface shall not exceed 3 mm. N o t e : Nonflatness shall be determined as the largest clearance between the housing (or housing base) bearing surface and the plate or special supports, measured by the housing (or housing base) perimeter. The housing (or housing base) rocking is not allowed during
19、 the clearance measurements. 22253-76 4 1.15. Dyeing of external surfaces of housings, housing mouths and bases shall be carried out by agreement with the customer according to specifications and technical documentation for corresponding components. 1.16. There shall be no oil and dye on the frictio
20、n surfaces of housings, housing mouths, wedges, cones and washers. 1.17. Probability of housings no-failure during 10 years lifetime shall be no less than 0.75. Index of failure shall comply with the housings specifications and technical documentation. (Amended Wording, Amendment No. 1). 2. ACCEPTAN
21、CE PROCEDURE 2.1. The manufacturer shall carry out the acceptance, periodic and standard tests to check the conformity of gears and their components to the requirements of this Standard. 2.2. Each gear and each components shall be subjected to acceptance test. 2.3. The following shall be inspected d
22、uring the acceptance test: appearance (1.10 to 1.12; 1.15; 1.16); basic dimensions of gears, housings, housing mouths and bases, rods (1.1; 1.2); chemical composition and mechanical properties of steel of housings, housing mouths and bases, rods (1.4 to 1.6, 1.8); depth of case-hardened (nitrogen ca
23、se-hardened) wedge layer (1.8); hardness of housings, housing mouths, wedges, cones and washers (1.7; 1.8); steel fracture mode of housings, housing mouths and bases (1.5; 1.9); housing and housing mouth steadiness (1.14); gears serviceability (3.10).
