2、S 81.040.30 OKP (All-Union Product Classification Code) 59 2320, 59 2330 GOST 5727-88 Validity from 01.01.90 This Standard applies to safety multilayer and hardened glass (hereinafter referred to as items) for land-based vehicles (except for motorcycles and snowmobiles), tractors, agricultural and h
3、oisting vehicles operated in all macroclimatic areas on land in accordance with GOST 15150. The requirements of this Standard are obligatory. The requirements, acting in the territory of the Russian Federation, are marked out on the left with vertical line. The safety requirements, specified in clau
4、ses 2.2.1; 2.2.3 to 2.2.6; 2.2.7.3 to 2.2.7.10; 2.2.8.1; 2.2.8.2 and Section 3 of this Standard, are mandatory for the group of uniform products “safety glass for land-based vehicles“ and are subject to inclusion in all kinds of the documentation, according to which they are manufactured (Amended Wo
5、rding, Amendments Nos. 1, 2 and 3) 1. KEY DIMENSIONS 1.1. The dimensions and their maximum deviations shall correspond to the requirements of drawings for particular items and shall not exceed the values specified in table 1 and clauses 1.2 and 1.3. The dimensions and their maximum deviations of ite
6、ms for glazing of passenger cars of electrical trains and diesel-multiple unit trains shall meet the requirements of GOST 13521. The requirements for contents of the drawings are given in Appendix 1. 1.2. Maximum dimensional deviations of flat premium items shall not be more than 2.0 mm. 1.3. Maximu
7、m width deviations shall not exceed, mm: 0.4 for multilayer items; 0.3 for hardened items. Structure of a safety glass conventional designation: Examples of conventional designations shall be stipulated in specifications for particular items. 1.3
9、 and 1.4 (Amended Wording, Amendment No. 1) 2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS 2.1. The items shall be produced according to the requirements of this Standard and specifications for particular items, and also according to design and technological documentation approved in accordance with the established proc
10、edure. The terms used in this Standard and their definitions are specified in Appendix 2. 2.2. Characteristics 2.2.1. Windscreens of land-based vehicles, the requirements specification for which is approved after 01.07.77, shall be made from multilayer glass on a film of 0.76 mm thick. Windscreens m
11、ay be produced from hardened glass for low speed vehicles having speeds up to 30 km/h. (Amended Wording, Amendment No. 1) 2.2.2. The flatness deviation of flat items and deviation of the curved items from the given shape shall be stipulated in specifications or drawings for particular items. 2.2.3.
12、The open and sliding end faces of items shall be ground, and the closed immovable ones shall be blunted. By agreement between the manufacturer and the customer other types of treatment of end faces is allowed. Chips are not allowed on open end faces. Dimensions and quantity of allowable chips on sli
13、ding and immovable closed end faces shall meet the requirements of specifications for particular items. 2.2.4. Optical transmission of windscreens of motor vehicles and trams shall be no less than 75%. For other windows it shall be no less than 70%. Optical transmission of shading strips in the area
14、 above zone B for cars and zone 1 for other vehicles is not normalized. The determination of zones of windscreens is specified in Appendix 3. Heat-absorbing windscreens shall not distort correct perception of white, yellow, red, green and light-blue colors. 2.2.4. Optical transmission of glasses ens
15、uring visibility for a driver shall be no less than: 75 % - for windscreens; 70 % - for glasses which are not the windscreens but which are included in normative visual field , defining the forward visibility (see fig. 1). Windscreens, colored in bulk and toned, shall not distort the correct perception of white, yellow, red, gre
19、en and light-blue colors Optical transmission of shading strips in the area above zone B for autocars and zone 1 for other vehicles is not normalized. Definition of windscreen zones is specified in Appendix 3. (Amended Wording, Amendment No. 3, Correction). 2.2.5. The optical distortion of windscree
20、ns (change in diameter of circles projected on the screen) shall not exceed 2.5 mm (2) in zones A and 1 and 7 mm (6) in zone B. For all parts of zones A and 1, located at a distance less than 100 mm from the windscreen edge, the optical distortion of 7 mm (6) is allowed. 2.2.6. Displacement of the s
21、econdary image of windscreens shall be within the limits of a circle of no more than 79 mm (15) in diameter in zones A and 1 and 123 mm (25) in zone B. For all parts of zones A and 1 located at a distance less than 100 mm from the windscreen edge the displacement of the secondary image of 123 mm (25
22、) is allowed. The optical distortions and displacement of the secondary image are not normalized in a peripheral zone at a distance of 25 mm from edges for windscreens of land-based vehicles and 100 mm for windscreens of tractors and agricultural vehicles. For windscreens consisting of two halves th
23、e optical parameters are not normalized in a band of 35 mm wide adjacent to the separation rack. 2.2.7. Requirements for multilayer glass items 2.2.7.1. (Removed, Amendment No. 1). 2.2.7.2. The allowable displacement of glass sheets in relation to each other and flash of the film sticking them toget
24、her shall be specified for particular items. 2.2.7.3. The windscreens shall withstand impact by a ball with a mass of 227 g (2) at a temperature of 40C (2) and 20C (2). The ball falling height and mass of splinters separated from the side opposite to impact shall correspond to table 2. T a b l e 2 H
