A solvent type neoprene synth
2、etic rubber base adhesive that provides a high strength bond for a variety of porous and non-porous surfaces. 1.2 Typical Applications. Porous and non- porous surfaces. 2 References Note: Only the latest approved standards are applicable unless otherwise specified. 2.1 External Standards/Specificati
3、ons. ASTM D92 ASTM D1875 ASTM D1002 2.2 GM Standards/Specifications. GM9010P GMW3059 GMW3001 3 Requirements 3.1 Color. Grey-green. 3.2 Weight (ASTM D1875). 815 25 g/L. 3.3 Solids (GM9010P). 25 2% by mass. 3.4 Viscosity. 0.2 to 0.45 Pas (200 to 450 cps), Brookfield viscometer, RVF spindle #2, 20 rpm,
4、 27C (80)F. 3.5 Flash point (ASTM D92, C.O.C.). -25C. 3.6 Solvent. Naptha/toluene/ketone. 3.7 Tensile strength, shear (ASTM D1002), minimum. 3.7.1 Metal to metal, steel. 3.5 MPa. 3.7.2 Plastic to plastic, melamine. 3.5 MPa. 3.8 Heat resistance. 160C minimum. 3.9 Reactivation. Adhesive shall be capab
5、le of being reactivated with methyl ethyl ketone or by heat. 3.10 Dry film coverage (approx. for non porous surfaces): 245 cm2/L. 3.11 Form and Quality. 3.11.1 Texture. Smooth homogenous mixture after agitation. 3.11.2 Odor. Non-noxious, nor an odor which is more perceptible after solvent evaporatio
6、n. 3.11.3 Storage Stability. Material shall not deteriorate beyond the limits of usefulness within 90 days at temperatures below 35C while stored in the original container. 3.12 Tests. 3.12.1 Prepare shear tensile strength (3.7) panels as follows: Apply approximately 0.25 mm dry film of adhesive to
7、each surface. Allow to dry for 2 h at 25C. Heat the dried adhesive until film becomes tacky (usually about 120C) and join the surfaces immediately while hot by rolling eight times with a rubber roller and followed by 3 minutes at 0.7 MPa in a 120C press. 3.12.2 Heat resistance (3.8).
