14、This British Standard specifies methods for the determination of size, squareness and straightness of edge of textile floor covering tiles, and is applicable to tiles of all types of construction, maximum thickness 15 mm, and for all methods of installation, e.g. loose laid or adhered. 2 References
15、The titles of the publications referred to in this standard are listed on the inside back cover. 3 Principle Dimensions of the tiles are measured using micrometer gauges, and straightness of edge determined using feeler gauges. 4 Apparatus The following apparatus is required. 4.1 Apparatus, specifie
16、d in BS 5920 for the determination of dimensions of textile floor covering test specimens. 4.2 Feeler gauges, of 5 mm width in the range 0.2 mm to 2.0 mm. 5 Atmosphere for conditioning and testing The conditioning and testing atmosphere shall be the standard atmosphere for testing textiles defined i

Sampling and number of specimens shall be as agreed between the parties involved in the test. Specimens shall be allowed to condition laid fl
