11、:00 2006, Uncontrolled Copy, (c) BSI BS 5711-0:1979 BSI 12-19991 General introduction This British Standard has been prepared under the direction of the Chemicals Standards Committee in order to provide methods of sampling and test for glycerol. Methods of sampling and test for glycerol were origina

In preparing the present (1979) revision of that standard it was decided, in order to facilitate future revision of the test methods, that they should be published as separate Parts of a new multipart British Standard
13、. For some years the United Kingdom has participated in the work of preparing methods of sampling and test applicable to glycerol for industrial use, organized by Technical Committee 47, Chemistry, of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). As international agreement is reached on
14、the methods, it is proposed, subject to approval by the United Kingdom, to publish them as Parts of this British Standard. This British Standard comprises the following Parts. Part 0: General introduction; Part 1: Samples and test methods: general; Part 2: Methods of sampling; Part 3: Determination
15、of glycerol content; Part 4: Determination of density and relative density; Part 5: Determination of alkalinity or acidity: volumetric method; Part 6: Determination of ash: gravimetric method; Part 7: Determination of sulphated ash: gravimetric method; Part 8: Determination of water content: Karl Fi

Part 2 to Part 9, as appendices A to H of BS 2621-5, November 1964 Part 11 to Part 14, as appendices K to N to BS 2621-5, November 1964 Part 16 to Part 18
