This Standard fully complies with CMEA Standard 1711-79. 1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
4、 1.1. The safety valves and their accessories, complying with the requirements of “Rules for the Construction and Safe Operation of Steam and Hot-Water Boilers”, approved by USSR Gosgortekhnadzor (USSR State Mining Safety Inspectorate), shall be allowed for protection of boilers. (Amended Wording, A

The design and materials of safety valve elements and their accessories shall be selected depending on working medium parameters, and shall ensure the reliability and correctness of operation in working conditions. 1.3. The safety valves shall be calculated and adjusted so that
6、 the pressure in the boiler does not exceed the working pressure by more than by 10%. Heightening of pressure shall be allowed, if it is stipulated in the boilers stress calculation. REQUIREMENTS FOR DIRECT
15、ACTION SAFETY VALVES 2.1. The design of loading or spring safety valves shall provide for the monitoring device of the valve normal operation during boiler operation by forcing the valve to open. The possibility of forced opening shall be ensured at 80% of the pressure at the beginning of opening. 2
16、.2. The difference between the complete opening pressure and pressure at the beginning of opening of the valve shall not exceed the following values: 15% of the pressure at the beginning of opening for boilers with working pressures of no higher than 0.25 MPa (2.5 kgf/cm2); 10% of the pressure at th
