5、Clause 1. The general guidelines given in this part of ISO 10816 are applicable to the measurement and evaluation of vibration measured at the bearings of steam turbines and at the bearings of generators due to excitation from different sources. However, the criteria presented in Clause 4 and Annex
6、A are applicable only to the vibration due to excitation from the rotating elements. These criteria are not applicable to the evaluation of the electromagnetic vibration excited at twice the line frequency (i.e. twice the electrical system frequency) transmitted from the generator stator core to the
7、 bearings. Acceptable values for such vibration are dependent on the specific constructional features of the generator, and current knowledge in the industry does not provide a basis for defining universal values. The acceptance criteria for such vibration can be subject to agreement between the sup

The work of preparing International Standards is
16、 normally carried out through ISO technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been established has the right to be represented on that committee. International organizations, governmental and non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part
17、 in the work. ISO collaborates closely with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization. International Standards are drafted in accordance with the rules given in the ISO/IEC Directives, Part 3. Draft International Standards adopted by the t

Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this part of ISO 10816 may be the subject of patent

24、machine types when the vibration measurements are made on non-rotating parts. This part of ISO 10816 applies to steam turbines and generators. Evaluation criteria, based on previous experience, are presented which may be used as guidelines for assessing the vibratory condition of such machines. It m
