15、 a worldwide federation of national standards bodies (ISO member bodies). The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been established has the right to be represen

ISO collaborates closely with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization. International Standards are dr

Draft International Standards adopted by the technical committees are circulated to the member bodies for voting. Publication as an International S

This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition (ISO 8835-3:1997), which has been technically revised. ISO 8835 consists of the following parts,

It is recognized that there are many factors affecting conditions within the operators work

These include room ventilation, leakage from equipment and the choice of anaesthetic technique, all of which are variable. Furthermore, the amount of pollutant taken up by personnel will be affected by other factors, su
