7、,- JAPANESE INDUSTRIAL STANDARD JIS B 0004 : 1995 Technical drawings- Representation of springs 1 Scope This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the methods of graphical representation and expressing methods of essentials for coiled springs, leaf springs and the like. However, this Standard also

Remarks 1 2 The normative references to this Standard shall be as given in the following: JIS B O001 JIS B 0103 JIS G 3506 JIS G 3521 JI

Coiled springs, volute springs, spiral springs and coned disc springs shall gen- erally be described under the condition of no load,

The coiled springs and volute springs without commentary in Table of essen- tials mean those of clockwise windings. In the case of the counterclockwise windings, it shall be noted as uwinding

The items which are difficult to be noted in the drawing shall be represented collectively in Table of essentials (see Attached Figs. 1 to 3, 7, 8, 11, 14, 17, 18, 20, 23, 25, 27, 29 and 31). In the case where whole parts of a spring are illustrated, it shall be in accor- d

Besides, the transition part of the effective part and the portion of base, where the pitch and angle are changing continuously, shall be expressed by a bent strai

For the coiled springs, where a part of the same shaped part except the both ends is to be omitted, the centre line of the wire diameter shall be expressed by a dot-dash-line (see Attached Figs. 5, 6, 12 and 15). In the case where the dimensional e

In the case where only the types and shapes of the springs are to
