8、permanent magnet Introduction This Japanese Industrial Standard is prepared based on IEC 60404- 5, Magnetic materials-Part 5 : Permanent magnet (magnetically hard) materials- Methods of measurement of magnetic properties published in 1993 as the second edition, without any change in the technical co
9、ntents. However, specifications not stated in the corresponding International Standard are added and such portions are shown by dotted underlines or solid sidelines. 1 Scope The purpose of this Japanese Industrial Standard is to define the method of measurement of the magnetic flux density, magnetic
10、 polarization and the mag- netic field strength and also the determination of the demagnetization curve and recoil line of permanent magnet materials, such as those specified in JIS C 2502, the properties of which are presumed homogeneous throughout their volume. The performance of a magnetic system
11、 is not only dependent on the properties of the permanent magnet material but also on the dimensions of the system, the air- gap and other elements of the magnetic circuit. The methods described in this Standard refer to the measurement of the magnetic properties in the closed magnetic circuit simul
12、ating a ring. Remarks : The International Standard corresponding to this Standard is given below. 13、ns which, through reference in this Standard, constitute provisions of this Standard. The quantitative symbols are H c and Hd, respectively and the unit is ampere per meter (Nm). 3.8 (BEI), (energy maximum) The maximum value of product of the magnetic flux density and the corresponding magnetic field strength on a B-
19、H demagnetiza- tion curve (represents field energy). The quantitative symbol is (BH), and the unit is joule per cubic meter (J/m3). For permanent magnetic materials, this Standard deals with both the coercivity H c (the coercivity related to the magnetic flux density) and the intrinsic coercivity HC
20、J (the coercivity related to the magnetic polarization). The measurements specified in this Standard are for both of magnetic flux den- sity B and magnetic polarization J, as a function of the magnetic field strength H.
