This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies rubber shaft couplings, Remark: The units and numerical values given in 1 in this Standard are based
5、 on the traditional unit system and are appended for informative reference. 2. Definitions The principal terms used in this Standard are defined as follows: (1) deviation in alignment of axes and angular deviation between the centre lines (axes) of two shafts joined by a coupling. Couplings shall be so balanced that they do not cause any vibra- * 5. Dimensions and Construction 5.1 Table. Principal dimensi
17、ons of couplings shall be as given in Attached 5.2 Shaft bore diameters of couplings shall be not more than the maxi- mum diameter given in Attached Table, and shall generally conform to JIS B 0903 or JIS B 0904. In this case, dimensional tolerances on the shaft bore of couplings shall generally be
18、H 7 specified in JIS B 0401. Remark: The shaft bore diameter may be as roughly machined, subject to the agreement between the parties concerned. 5.3 Dimensional tolerances of the parts other than those to be fitted shall be as follows: For machined parts Medium grade of JIS B 0405 For parts as cast

21、may not affect adversely the mounting and use. Material JIS K 6386 5.6 Bolts to be used for couplings shall be locked with spring washers or by other means. Flange and pressure ring Bolt, nut and washer 5.7 The coupling shall be so constructed that it is capable of absorbing the play in axial direct

Inspection 7.1 Classification of Inspection The inspection of couplings shall be classified into type inspection(+) and acceptance inspection( 5). The sampling inspection plan, when used for the type inspection and acceptance inspecti
24、on, shall be determined by the agreement between the parties concerned. Notes (4) The type inspection is to determine whether the quality of products satisfy all of the designed characteristics. Acceptance inspection is an inspection carried out, upon the delivery of products of the same design and
25、of the same manufacture as those which have already passed the type inspection, to determine whether or not they satisfy the required characteristics, (5) 7.2 lows : Type Inspection The type inspection shall be performed as fol- (1) The appearance shall be visually inspected on every part of the cou
26、pling, and shall meet the requirements of 4.1. (2) Dimensions and construction shall satisfy the requirements of 5 . (3) When the coupling is loaded statically with a torque five times the normal torque given in Attached Table for 3 min, no abnor- mality shall be found in every part, Copyright Japan

28、oad under a condition where the permissible values of eccentricity and angular deviation specified in Table 2 are given at the same time, no abnormality shall be found in any part mentioned in Table 4, The test revolutions shall be as given in Table 5.
