Scope This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the classification and performance of watches used for diving (hereafter called “divers watches”) in which time management is necessary.
4、Remarks 1. This Standard does not apply to the watches used in skin div- ing. 2. The following standards me cited in this Standard: JIS B 7001 Testing methods for watches and clocks JIS B 7010 Nomenclature for parts of watches and clocks 3. Corresponding International Standard to this Standard is gi

17、.4 Shock resistance Divers watches shall meet the following requirements when tested in accordance with Annex 4 (Testing of shock resistance) of JIS B 7001. Residual effect of the watch shall be below the following values. (a) Mechanical watch: 60 s/day (b
19、) Quartz watch: 2 s/day The function shall not show changes by shock. (3) 4.5 Salt water resistance The case and attachments of divers watches shall not show signs of rust or the like and their moving parts shall function normally after testing has been performed in accordance with 6.4.3. 4.6 merged
