3、tablished by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry through deliberations at the Japanese Industrial Standards Committee according to the proposal of establishing a Japanese Industrial Standard from the Japan Research Institute for Screw Threads and Fasteners (JFRI)/the Japanese Standards Assoc
4、iation (JSA), with a draft of Industrial Standard based on the provision of Article 12 Clause 1 of the Indus trial Standardization Law This Standard has been made based on IS0 10664 : 1999 Hexalobular internal driuing feature for bolts and screws for the purposes of making easy to compare this Stand
5、ard with the International Standard; to prepare Japanese Industrial Standard conforming with the International Standard; and to propose a draft of International Standard which is based on Japanese Industrial Standard. 12、eature for bolts and screws published in 1999 without modifying the technical contents. 1 Scope This Standard specifies the shape and basic dimensions of hexalobular internal driving feature for bolts and screws including the gauging method. The curvature of the contour of the hexalobular internal d
13、riving feature is de- fined by the gauges specified in Tables 3, 4 and 5. Additional information which may be used when drawing the contour is given in the informative annex A. The intent of this Standard is to provide the details necessary for inspection of the hexalobular driving feature. It is no
14、t suitable for, nor intended to be used as a manufacturing standard. Remarks : The International Standard corresponding to this Standard is as fol- lows. In addition, symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identi
15、cal), MOD (modified), and NE& (not equivalent) ac- cording to ISODEC Guide 21. 19、l allow the GO gauge (see 3 . 2 ) to enter freely to the penetration depth t as specified in the relevant prod- uct standards. The NOT GO gauges (see 3.3.1 and 3 . 3 . 2 ) shall not enter the hexalobular internal driving feature to a depth greater than the fallaway allowance f specified in Table 2.
20、Table 2 Fallaway allowance f All gauging is performed with reference to the top surface of the head. In the case of oval or round top heads, measurements are taken from the actual intersec- tion of the top surface of the head and the hexalobular internal driving feature counterbore. When using a dia
21、l penetration gauge this should be adjusted to zero while the gauge is pressed against a flat surface thereby compressing the plunger to make it flush with the gauge reference surface (see Figure 2). 23、shall have dimensions within the limits shown in 3.3 NOT GO gauges 3.3.1 Gauging the fallaway of dimensions A and Re The NOT GO gauge for dimensions A and Re shall have dimensions within the limits specified in Figure 4 and Table 4. 3.3.2 Gauging the fallaway of dimension B A cylindrical NOT GO gaug
