2、Foreword This translation has been made based on the original Japanese Industrial Standard revised by the Minister of International Trade and Industry through deliberations at Japanese Industrial Standards Committee in accordance with the Industrial Standardization Law. Consequently JIS B 1189 : 198
3、7 is replaced with JIS B 1189 : 1999. This revision has been made to set corresponding International Standard to the standard body for the purpose to enhance the internationality of this Standard, however, the corresponding International Standard gives differences about each dimension and their tole
4、rances from actual circumstances in this country, therefore, the Hexagonal bolts with flange, which had been taken as conventional Japanese Industrial Standard, has been given in Annex 1 to make it an interim measures. 8、IS0 4162, Hexagon flange bolts-Small series, published in 1990, without any modifying technical contents in corresponding International Standard, and An- nex 1 to this Standard adopts Hexagon flange bolts which had been conventionally employed in Japanese Industrial Standard and whose shape and dime
9、nsions differ from those specified in IS0 4162. 1 Scope This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies hexagon flange bolts with nominal thread size from M5 to M16 whose strength division is from 8.8 to 10.9 and property division is A2-70. Remarks : The International Standard corresponding to this Stan
