8、panese Industrial Standards Committee, as the result of proposal for revision of Japanese Industrial Standard submitted by The Japanese Society for Non-Destructive Inspection (JSNDI)/ the Japanese Standards Association (JSA) with the draft being attached, based on the provision of Article 12 Clause
9、1 of the Industrial Standard- ization Law applicable to the case of revision by the provision of Article 14. Consequently JIS Z 3060 : 1994 is replaced with this Standard. This revision is made in consideration of the technological advancement and international technological trend with regard to ult

21、andard specifies the method for detecting a discontinuity and for measuring its location and dimensions on full penetration welds of ferrite series steel with thickness of 6 mm or more, in the case of manual ultra- sonic examination (hereafter referred to as “examination”) using pulse echo technique
22、 by ultrasonic test instrument (hereafter referred to as “test instrument”) with a scope display. However, this Standard is not applied to the examination of joint welds of steel pipes under production process. 2 Normative references The following standards contain provisions which, through referenc
